Yes, this old houses believes to be the first homes where the first Filipino planters [sakada] lived in Wailuku, Maui, after being brought to the island from the Philippines to work in the sugarcane plantations in Hawaii. Most of the houses at present times are still made of wood, few of them already modernized/upgraded. |
